iheart faces - pets week

It's pets week at iheartfaces.  This is the first picture I took with my 50mm lens of my sleepy Gracie.  She came to me when she was two and at the time weighed 95 pounds, never been to vet, had no hair on her stomach and lots of kennel sores on her legs.  Happy to say that 8 years later she is a hyper 10 years young and weighs 65 pounds.  I thought I'd share her here in her unedited glory - she's so cute she doesn't need any editing!

Oonk Family

You know it's going to be a great day for pictures when an adorable 2 1/2 year-old gets out the car saying, "Hi Amanda, I'm ready for you to take my picture!"  Such an honor to take Parker's picture on his 1st birthday.  He proved to be an intense little guy, already very sure on his feet.  As always, such a great family to spend the morning (or any time of the day) with!

Taylor's First Communion; Sheboygan Children's Photographer

My niece Taylor is beautiful.  Those eyes are straight out of camera - unedited.  I was lucky enough to be able to capture this milestone for her and her family.

A friend called me early the other morning asking if I could take a quick headshot - that day.  Considering the circumstance, that I just ran out from work for a quick 5 minutes, I think it turned out quite well and was glad I could get something workable for him.  Here's my favorite.

iheart faces - babies week!

It's babies week at iheart faces and I thought it would be fun to share these little babies that were born on my front porch! (note - no one touched or moved the nest so the mom bird came back and they all flew away after they were full grown!)

Barefoot

This week iheartfaces

is helping spread awareness for Soles for Souls.

Soles4Souls

This week you have to incorporate feet/shoes of some sort.  This came directly to mind.  My daughter loves to do puzzles and uses her feet to hold them up. It took a little bit to convince her to do the puzzle when the camera was up, but eventually she forgot about me.
